12 September — PRPP Refresher Course Paediatrics

This course is offered to occupational therapists who have previously completed a PRPP Assessment Course. It will be specifically tailored to the needs of therapists working with children whose school, play and daily life routines and tasks are compromised by learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders or emotional regulation difficulties. Participants will learn the most recent version of the tool and its variants, the latest information about its psychometric properties, and will have supervised opportunities to use the PRPP Assessment to identify difficulties observed in videotaped examples of children.
OBJECTIVES: Participants will be able to:
- Describe the current PRPP Stage One-Performance Mastery and its application to practice.
- Describe the current PRPP Stage Two-Cognitive Strategy Application and its application to practice.
- Describe the current psychometric properties of the PRPP Assessment.
- Score paediatric client performances using the PRPP Assessment and graph results.
- Describe how to measure and illustrate outcome using the PRPP Assessment.
PRESENTERS: This course will be taught by Dr. Chris Chapparo and Dr. Judy Ranka
AUDIENCE: Qualified occupational therapists who have previously completed a full PRPP Assessment course.
VENUE/SCHEDULE: This course will be taught from 9:00 to 4:30 on Friday, 12th of September, 2014 in Suite 401, Level 4 The Strand Arcade, George Street, Sydney.
